Blind Taste Test Event and Gift Card Giveaway

Last Saturday I was invited to take part in a bloggers blind food tasting event at the Gateway Mall.  Granted, you don’t need your eyes to taste food, but there is always the chance a prankster is going to put something sinister in your hand to taste like Vegemite or some other un-godly thing.  Luckily for me, this wasn’t part of a hidden camera show, but a summer kick off of Subway’s new BBQ line of flavors.  Here is a video of the event

The sandwiches consisted of Applewood Pulled Pork, Carved Turkey, and Rotisserie Style Chicken.  All of them showcasing Subways diverse offering of toppings and bread.  The sub sandwich is the perfect summer meal.  I’m actually thinking of spending a boating day down at Deer Creek reservoir in a few weeks, and a few of these sandwiches will be perfect.

Sound like a good idea?  Want to get in on some of these tasty flavors?  Well you had better hurry because they are only available through the end of July.  The first 10 people to comment on this post will win a $10 Subway point card.

These do look good. I know I’ve been a huge fan of Subway’s newest carved turkey and bacon. I’ll have to try the new BBQ Turkey you mentioned.
